Because of people stealing what isn't their work, I am not about to tolerate anyone for any reason taking my characters from me. Do the work yourself, do not plagiarise, and do not exploit a character someone spent hours or days making their own. People do not deserve to have it ripped out from underneath them—and all deserve an amount of respect.
Have common decency as a human being. No one should have to feel overly protective and paranoid about the safety (and, yes, I mean 'safety') of their characters. It's ridiculous that there are roleplayers out there with the audacity to call themselves genuine with the work of another: would you call yourself a detective just because you once touched a badge?
Zero tolerance for bullshit. All my characters are locked. End of story.
